Technical tasks

What are "Technical tasks"?

Technical tasks are projects conducted by ENVINET members.
They  are named so because they mostly focus on the ENVINET goals "preparation of data for research" and "improvement of methods".

Some of them work with issues relevant for only one of the original working groups, some of them go across in more multidisciplinary or multimedia tasks.  Each technical task receives funding from ENVINET and has a project leader. Most of them require participation from the members, both in projects groups and by providing information.

The type of standardisation that is done in the technical tasks, is often a prerequisite for research with data across the ENVINET stations. It is therefore likely that many of the projects also will lead to the formation of research groups, applying for funding from other sources than ENVINET.

Several of the ideas that has been brought up for technical tasks are valuable proposals for research collaboration across the ENVINET stations.
